A huge thank you to St Giles Flooring and especially George for fitting our new carpet runners — we are absolutely delighted with the result.
From the moment we stepped into the showroom through to the final installation, the entire process was seamless and incredibly easy. George spent a great amount of time with us in the showroom, talking us through different options and helping us understand what would work best for our stairs. His knowledge and advice on colour, style and measurements were invaluable and made the decision process much easier.
Once we received the quote, everything was organised very efficiently. The measuring appointment and fitting dates were arranged smoothly. There was a small delay with the final fit, but this was communicated clearly and didn’t cause any issues.
On the installation days, George was professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced. He got straight to work and delivered a fantastic finish. We went for a herringbone fibre carpet with a woven border, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out. The team also replaced some of our thresholds, which we really appreciated and added to the overall finish.
The final result has genuinely elevated the look and feel of our home — it looks fantastic. The pricing was also very competitive compared to other providers we considered.

After a lengthy and complete house renovation I was recommended St Giles Flooring. So we popped into the shop and immediately felt that they knew what they were doing. They gave great advice on wood flooring and carpets. What would work, what would last well. They also helped us out with the pricing and managed to fit into our budget. George did an excellent job fitting carpets in 3 bedrooms, upstairs landing and stairs in our new house.
The service was excellent from the start; he visited to talk through the options, provide samples and made good suggestions. George was accommodating in booking us in before we moved in. Then when it came to fitting George did a professional job to a very high standard with great attention to detail – never seen a better carpet fitted!
It is easy to see why he is recommended by so many.
George fitted Amtico flooring in three bedrooms, landing and and two living rooms as well as carpet on the stairs, and the result is amazing!
He had suggestions and advice when I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, and his workmanship and attention to detail is second to none.
