I just had my 2-bedroom bungalow completely floored by Northumbria Flooring in Northumberland today, and they were absolutely outstanding!!!. Lee and his mate turned up right at the start of the heatwave and worked through the sweltering heat without breaking a sweat or losing their cool; it was hot 🥵. They fitted carpet in the living room and bedroom, lino in the hallway, spare room, and even took the time to do the little airing cupboard where my assistance dog stays — they really didn’t have to, but they did, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that thoughtful touch. They also helped moved heavy furniture , my spine is like a bag of smashed crabs so appreciate it a lot! These lads have the best people skills I’ve come across in years. They stayed calm, friendly, and professional the whole time, took real care over the job and didn’t rush anything. The finish is perfect ; honestly one of the best carpet fittings I’ve ever had. On price they were unbelievable and unbeatable!. I got 5 quotes for exactly the same carpet and spec (m; the other four were all around 2 grand, with the dearest at £2.3k . Northumbria Flooring came in way cheaper and still delivered top quality. No wonder they’re recommended by the armed forces department at Northumberland Council ; as an ex-squaddie myself, that was good enough for me, and they didn’t disappoint. Big shout out to David in the office too ; friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. In this day and age you just don’t get service like this anymore. If you’re in Northumberland and need flooring done, these are your guys. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. If Carlsberg did Northumbria flooring, they probably be the best in the world. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

first class service from first measure to fitting, the fitters were lovely, respectful, polite and tidy. A landing and stair carpet laid in under 2 hours, they even managed to make a beautiful job round a funny shaped stair and newel post.The final product looks amazing. A+

Not difficult to get to friendly and helpful staff. We live in Blyth, and it took us about 15 minutes to get what we went there for and back home. Highly recommended as the cost was very good., and only good quality to boot too. They have a good range of carpets with prices to them. We'd go further to say if you're looking at having your carpets fitted you not do better than hiring Northumbria Flooring to do the job for you.

I had carpets fitted in 2 rooms and on the hall stairs and landing. Fantastic quality carpets and the value and service was second to non. James was on hand to make sure that everything ran smoothly. Mick was a fabulous fitter and did a very professional job. I also had laminate fitted in the kitchen and Chris did an excellent job and the finish was superb. I would strongly recommend this company for all your flooring needs and will definitely be using them again in the future. Lyn Tait
