Lifestyle carpets have just fitted my stairs runner and landing carpet. To say they did a good job is an understatement. Thank you so much to Kaden and Alan. You did an amazing job. Highly recommended.

Over the past 3 years, we have had 2 jobs done in our house from Lifestyle Carpets; in August 18 we had our living room, stairs, landing and bedrooms carpeted, and in March 21 we had our Kitchen and Bathroom fitted with Vinyl. August 18: For the majority (at the time) we thought that it was good quality and fitted perfectly. However, it did not come without issues. We also asked for our Vestibule to be fitted with Entrance matting, which the fitter at the time forgot to bring and told us he would come back the next day to fit it. I would also say, this fitter was by far the least professional person I have ever come across in my life. When my Father-in-Law mentioned he was going to Gran Canaria on holiday, the fitter made homophobic remarks which was disgraceful. I can confirm that Tony advised this fitter was dismissed due to a build up of complaints. No fitter returned and we had to wait a week for it to be sorted. March 21: Measuring: Tony, the owner, came round to measure the kitchen and bathroom area. Whilst he seems relatively friendly, he was disclosing personal information about a shared acquaintance of my wife which was incredibly unprofessional. At the time he SEEMED to take the correct measurements and correctly understood the work we wanted doing. Fitting: After they left, we were shocked to discover that the Kitchen Cupboard, which was part of the kitchen, and we specifically asked Tony to ensure this was done as well, was left pieced and incomplete with gaps showing the original flooring. When my wife rang Tony, he tried to claim that this was not part of the work, and his fitters had 'done us a favour' by putting some of the cut offs in there. Following discussions: I text Tony on the same Friday it was fitted with pictures to show the mess that had been left. I did not get a response to my text which I find strange from an company owner. I then followed it up with a call on Monday morning, which is when I realised what sort of person I was dealing with. Tony was unprofessional, rude, dismissive and refused to let me speak throughout the entirety of the call, he concluded that he would send someone to sort it 'at some point this week', but he wasn't going to cut a big piece to follow the pattern, which despite being an annoyance due to us already paying him, I agreed to ensure it was just done. Re-fitting: When the fitters returned, they swiftly put the new piece down. Again, the fitters themselves were nothing but professional and friendly and just got on with what was required. Conclusion: Despite having several issues, I cannot argue with the quality of the products themselves, our carpets have been down for almost 3 years and still look nice. I also can't argue with the friendliness of the fitters in March 2021. However, I will NEVER return her for one reason, Tony. The issue we had with the Vinyl could of been avoided if he spent less time talking about himself and shared acquaintances, and more time listening to our requirements and measuring properly. Additionally, his attitude when dealing with him after the job left me absolutely appalled and fuming. The issue we had with the Vinyl could of been completed avoided if he spent less time talking about himself and shared acquaintances, and more time listening to our requirements and measuring properly, then there would of been enough vinyl for the Kitchen Cupboard. Additionally, his attitude when dealing with him after the job left me absolutely appalled and fuming. So overall, if you want to buy a carpet/vinyl to fit yourself, I would recommend. If you want them to fit it for you, then I would suggest you stay clear, or alternatively measure it yourself to avoid Tony's incompetence.

Walked in to get a price for a carpet for my stairs and landing and got spoken to awfully. The guy was so rude and never asked me any open questions about what I'd like. I did say I want them measured and he just said its £18 a square metre right!! Do you have the measurements? He looked like he just couldn't be bothered so I will not be returning or recommending this carpet shop ever!

I was nervous at requesting a smallest of jobs but the little step in my lounge needed recarpeting so I called them. Arranged for someone to come theis morning. When he didn't show I rang the office to be told no one knows anything about it as he didn't put it in the book. A wasted morning and having to try and find and trust another tradesman now

We just had to put a five star review on for Lifestyle Carpets and Tony & his fitters. My elderly mum needed a new carpet so I took her to the shop as she had bought her previous carpet from there it must have been 14/15 years previous and that one was a cracking carpet but like all things they wear thin and get a bit tatty round the edges. Tony showed great patience as my mum can be very very indecisive and a little cantankerous ( I can say that I’m her daughter) he advised her which ones would be best & she took no notice and picked one that was problematic as it wasn’t in stock anywhere in the country and the next shipment could have been 16 weeks or more so fate played a good hand and she settled on a much nicer less expensive one . Tony came & measured the same day and a plan was put together her new carpet came and Alan was the fitter he moved some heavy furniture with out complaint and got cracking he also advised my mum about how it would affect the front door as with the carpet being so plush the fire door would need seeing too ( which is being sorted at the moment) Alan took his time he was so kind and patient with her and I’m sure spent more time than he had talking to her and explaining things that she tried to find fault with. Alan tided and removed the old carpet and cut offs when he was going her living room and hallway have been transformed the carpet is beautiful and very reasonably priced in fact it was £300 cheaper than the first one she picked . So from myself and my mum I would like to thank Tony and his fitters for a job very well done THANKS for all your help !
