Quick visit for some lime putty, extremely friendly service from all the lads. My order was quickly dealt with and he even put it next to my car outside so didn't have to carry the heavy tub. I was even offered a coffee while I waited. 5 star service.
Good local hardware shop with all essential tools and home repair items. I needed some screw and sealant and they had everything without any fuss. It's not huge but the convenience and helpful staff make it worth stopping by. Ideal for simple DIY needs in this area

There this morning for a fairly small order, but (importantly...) a heavy one. At every step, from choice to purchase, to loading the van, the staff were so friendly and helpful... This, and the very competitive prices at CBS, make this place hard to beat. Special mention to be made of John, who took our order, and 'Big Phil...' at the 'top yard', who made light work (for us...) of loading the van... Absolutely flawless company, and I'd definitely recommend them...

After our previous positive experiences with CBS, we ordered a load online, and it was delivered this afternoon.
Our decision to use CBS again was totally justified: the driver/ Hi-Ab operator, Tommo, was, from start to finish amazing... friendly and professional, Tommo worked very skillfully and safely to ensure our order was dropped where we needed it, and with complete respect for our property and requirements.
Again, CBS, and in particular Tommo today, are hard to beat, and I wouldn't go anywhere else now...
Great team of people. Through my own error, bought a piece of wood that wouldn't fit in my car. They could easily have shrugged their shoulders and said it was my problem. Instead, three of them stayed past closing time to help me cut it down to fit. Super service. Many thanks guys!
