Had carpets done with them 2 years ago and just used them again to lay LVT flooring throughout our downstairs. Dean is always easy to contact, very thorough in quoting & communicates well. The 2 guys who did the job itself both times have always been really friendly and have done a lovely job and are so tidy! Very happy.

An Honest Review: Great First Impression, Disappointing Aftercare I wanted to leave an honest and balanced review of my experience with D Good Flooring . The relationship with this company started very positively. Communication was good from the outset, they were quick to visit my home and provide a quotation, and the process of arranging the work was straightforward and professional. The LVT herringbone flooring itself looks lovely and, overall, I was pleased with the finished appearance. I will acknowledge that I am probably more particular than some customers. I mentioned to Steve on several occasions that I tend to notice small details that don't look quite right, and once I see them, I can't unsee them. For that reason, attention to detail was especially important to me. Unfortunately, there were several issues during the installation. Steve suffered back problems on two occasions, which delayed completion of the work. Whilst I understand that unexpected health issues can happen, the delays were frustrating. I also noticed that some of the flooring planks did not butt up neatly against the skirting boards in places. When I pointed this out, Steve explained that he had not been wearing the correct glasses and would wear them to improve the accuracy of his cuts. I appreciated his honesty, but I felt this was something that should have been addressed before installation started. In addition, some of the skirting boards around the door frames were cut quite roughly to allow the flooring to slide underneath. The finish in these areas was not as neat as I expected from a professional installation. The biggest disappointment, however, came after the installation. The flooring in our guest ensuite, which is rarely used, has started lifting in three separate places. Given the limited use of the room, this was particularly concerning. When I contacted the company and sent photographs, Dean responded very quickly and agreed to come out and rectify the issue, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, communication then became inconsistent. I had to chase for an update on when the repair would be carried out, and a date was eventually arranged for him to visit. However, the agreed date came and went, and no one attended. More disappointing was that there was no communication beforehand or afterwards to explain why the appointment had been missed. I subsequently sent a message to say that I was disappointed that I had not been informed he would not be coming. Dean later attempted to call me, but I was in a work meeting and unable to answer. I replied to explain this and asked if we could continue the conversation via WhatsApp. The message was read, but I received no response. At the time of writing this review, I am still waiting to hear back. This is particularly frustrating because the issue appears relatively minor and, in my view, could have been resolved quickly and easily. Had there been better communication and the repair been completed as promised, my overall impression of the company would have been very different. Overall, the company made an excellent first impression with their responsiveness, professionalism and the quality of the flooring itself. However, the installation issues and, more importantly, the lack of follow-through when defects were reported have left me feeling let down. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken constructively, as many of the concerns raised could have been avoided through greater attention to detail and clearer communication after the work was completed.

Dean laid LVT in our kitchen and hallway and did a brilliant job,he cleaned up afterwards and was respectful of our property, would definitely use again!

Professional. Helpful. Excellent Workmanship. Highly Recommend. Our story: we had just moved to a new bungalow and needed new flooring in three rooms. The flooring needed to match existing flooring in a hallway and one room. Dean came to advise and quote. He recognized the flooring as Karndean Art Select Spring Oak Parquet. It's an expensive option, but the quote was fine and we scheduled the work for 1st December. Bright and early on the 1st, Steve and Leon arrived and over the next week stripped out old flooring, laid self-levelling concrete/bonding, then painstakingly laid the Karndean tiles one by one. These are individual small blocks so precision is key. Excellent work and a really lovely team. The result? A perfect match to existing flooring and a wonderful result. The photos don't do it justice as we are still swamped with boxes. We are delighted with the flooring and the really professional, helpful and pleasant D Good Flooring team. Highly recommend.
