5 stars ⭐️ I was recommended JB Carpets by a friend for their bargain prices, quality and professional fitting. Ian in the office is really friendly and straightforward with expectations/prices etc, oh and he’s a good laugh too! Bargain price (almost half the price of Tapi/Carpet Right). I waited just under a week for fitting. Two John’s came early on the day, very professional and expert fitters. They work super fast, whilst still doing a perfect job with the fitting. Can’t quibble with anything… the price, carpet quality and fitting standard all on point 👏 Thanks fellas!
I recently had some lino fitted in a property I let out. The service I had from J.B. Carpets was excellent. The fitters came on time and I could see from the way they worked that they had considerable expertise. The price was reasonable too. John & John were the men who did the fitting. I am now setting off to the shop again for a new stair carpet. I couldn't praise them more highly. Thanks Ian, Ryan and John & John!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Both Bart the fitter, and JB Carpets the supplier.
An absolute experiential disaster. My husband and I chose to support a local business, not knowing it would turn into a 1 year and 5 month ordeal a complete waste of time, strenuous personal labour, and extensive prep work, all in exchange for stress.
Bart the fitter, displayed passive aggressive communication and was consistently dismissive and argumentative, making an already stressful situation even worse. JB Carpets were extremely disorganised, especially when it came to handling unexpected issues. Anyone in the office could answer the phone, but no one seemed to know how to resolve problems or even understand what was required to complete the job. Promises to call back were rarely fulfilled without constant chasing on our end.
This experience left us feeling vulnerable, unsure if raising complaints with either Bart or the supplier would jeopardise the completion of our prepaid work.
The lack of communication, customer service, and basic professionalism has been both shocking and deeply disappointing. We had just moved into a new home, I was heavily pregnant at the time, and since then we’ve been juggling life with a new baby while trying to get a simple flooring job completed so we could focus on the rest of the house. During this time, we even tried hiring other fitters to finish the job, but no one was willing to take on a half done project.
There’s so much more I could say, but to put it simply: avoid at all costs.

Three months on, and JB carpets reply clearly highlights a snippet of my experience with their lack of professionalism and accountability.
As I said avoid at all costs.

4 months agoDon’t bother, if you’re local just go to Angel Floors and ask for Dennis. Such better service and variety of carpet, not to mention cheaper!
