We got carpet put in our bedroom. Very reasonably priced, was fitted within a week of ordering and it took around 40 minutes.
Overall a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again!
I recently had hall , stairs and landing laminated by this company. I took two days off work for this. On the morning the job was to commence I received a phone call to say the flooring hadn’t arrived and they were chasing it up. I was fine with that as with Covid things are no longer straight forward.The installer arrived at 11.30 and comnenced work, Much to my surprise he called it a day at two o clock. A wasted day off work in my opinion. He then came back with another lad on the following day and they completed the job on the third day. I then inspected the completed job and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Not only has he caused damage to the door surrounds and the sides of stairs the whole job is abysmal, from the hall floor that bounces and creaks to the stair strips that stick up and in places are coming off, chips and scratches on stair treads, large gaps where the risers and treads have been cut short and filled with silicone, door frames which were cut to enable flooring to go underneath have flooring stopping short and left with gaps. I could keep going . Four days after I informed the store that I was unhappy with the installation the owner came out to have a look. He wasn’t prepared to look at the job objectively and kept saying things like it’s the age of the house floors and stairs are uneven etc etc etc !!! He then conceded that there may be a manufacturing issue with the incizo strips. He asked me to give him a couple of days to contact manufacturers, Five days later he got back to me saying they said it was because I used the stairs too soon after the laminate was laid. I pointed out to him that this was one of the issues apparent before his installer left.He has said that he will get the same installer (his best installer )to come back out and replace the bits he thinks need replacing. I have refused as I don’t want this installer back to redo as if he couldn’t do it first time why would I want him to try again. I am now going to get my money back from this company even if I have to take them to court . I just hope that this might help people to make an informed decision before engaging this company. I am attaching some photos so you can get an idea of the quality of workmanship. FYI the dark patches show the thickness of silicone needed to fill the gaps where flooring cut too short
Great fella was quick to offer me better price and helpful with measurements, even loaded my car up for me. If you need flooring go here, lovely people.
Very good experience from start to finish. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, particularly as we had to go to several iterations before we made our final choices for downstairs loo and ensuite. Being a small showroom there are limited samples available but they can order from all the major suppliers, but personally we find ordering our self preferable.
The fitting of the Kardean in the downstairs loo was excellent, with some very tricky cuts and fits, for example round the loo.
Definitely recommended.
