We had an excellent experience with Pennells throughout the whole process. The shop has a good range to view; Chris was really helpful and let us take samples away to narrow down our selection. Communication regarding fitting was also good, with Mark, and was arranged on 2 separate dates, a week apart, to give us time to get organised. The fitters, Dean and Ashton, were very experienced and did an excellent job. Care was taken bringing the carpets in, and with skirting boards too. Vinyls were cut in very well with a close fit. We had 4 bedrooms re-carpeted, 2 bathrooms hard-boarded and then vinyl laid, and a downstairs toilet screed and then laid with vinyl. The quality of the carpets and vinyls is good and we are extremely happy with it all. We have no hesitation in recommending Pennels.
My elderly Mother in Mayfield had lino flooring installed in her kitchen by Pennells today. She is so happy with the end result, and said that the two workmen were extremely professional and efficient. Her new floor looks lovely. Thank you Pennells!
Moved into a property that needed carpets and went to Pennells. Very professional advice in the store and had someone round later in the day to measure up and provide a quote. Despite a potentially two to three week lead time they managed to have the carpet fitted two days later, absolutely phenomenal. Very professional fit and finish. Quality of service and product was very much worth the money.

We used Pennells 15 years ago for laminate flooring and they provided excellent service. I'm pleased to say 15 years later they are still providing the same great service.
From initial sales contact with Steve, arranging installation with Mark and fitting by Gavin and Stuart and support from Amy in accounts, the experience has been outstanding.
Steve was able to provide great advice and on both the carpet and the luxury vinyl tiles we wanted. Wasn't pushy and picked products that suited our budget, providing samples and solutions for our stairs. We arranged a fitting date with Mark and he confirmed what time the fitters would be with us a few days before they were due.
Gavin and Stuart work at a phenomenal rate and were finished in two days. Plus being built like WWF wrestlers they were happy to shift our furniture which the wife and I would struggle with.
We had a minor issue with two door grips and Pennells immediately put a remedial plan into action and Gavin and Stuart returned the next day and fixed the issue.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pennells for customer service and quality.
Stuart came and fitted LVT in March, professionally dealt with not the easiest original concrete slab, which had cracked in a few places and was quite uneven.
The final finish and quality is amazing and would highly recommend Julian and the team for their knowledge and expertise.
