a month agoI went out my way to try here, it was quiet, didn’t feel welcome, felt flat, empty & miserable, not so much range either…more staff than customers

3 years agoI love this garden centre, it’s got a nice size car park with a few disabled spots. The garden centre has great value plants which always seem to do well, and there is a beautiful flower shop inside too. The staff can make up gorgeous bouquets of flowers for any occasion and a good price too. Next door to it is Fletchers farm shop, the produce is fantastic, the fruit and veg taste so much better than the supermarket, especially the avocados which I always find tricky. They also do frozen goodies, milk and artisan foodie products… I’m going to sample the fresh cut bread with a bit if blackcurrant and sloe gin jam! Yum! The site has many shops, a craft shop, garden ornaments, vintage antiques and jewellery, patios and sheds - it’s great to have a nosy round and def pop into the cafe. Fab breakfasts and lunches. Just note it’s all closed on a Monday. Which is fair enough as they are open all weekend.

11 months agoFantastic fishing pond. Received wonderful service from the lady that I dealt with, informed me of new baits being sold there and great advise on what to use, brought a few things and the fish loved it, started catching many fish all day. Also very good friendly service and really nice food at the cafe on site to. Will definitely return.

2 years agoA friend recommended the fishing here and I wasn't disappointed. At least 8 of the carp were double figures the other 16 or so fish were of a good size . Also used the garden centre for a bit of plant and pot buying .The prices are extremely good ,managed to bag a few pots in the sale also some plants to go in them .Will be returning soon for more fishing and shopping.
