Would highly recommend Stretford carpets and flooring. Visited the store with my husband and wanted a beautiful carpet for our upstairs that didn’t break the bank. Was shown a variety of carpets, ranging in price and never felt pressured into purchasing any of them.
The one we chose looks very expensive but it was very reasonable. Other companies would have charged a fortune.
The carpet fitters were two lovely guys who were polite and efficient.
We will come back here again for our next future house renovation!
Not happy that we had to pay extra to uplift the carpet (£36) when wasn't clear on transaction. Was told it would be £80 to fit the carpet. When I rang to discuss the owner was rude and said read the invoice and then just hung up the phone. To think I was going to use them for the other house ( all rooms). I won't be using him now. How rude. It's not even about the money. Where has good customer service gone
Excellent well stocked showroom, very helpful attentive advice with no pressure. We got a good quote compared to other shops. The carpet fitter Craig was brilliant assessed job prior to doing came and did a lovely job of fitting a tricky stripped carpet on landing and stairs in old house.
We are very pleased and would. definitely recommend .
Really happy with our new lounge carpet. The sales guy was very easy to deal with, understood our requirements and recommended perfect product. Pricing was very clear and fitting very quick. And the baby started crawling four days after the new carpet was fitted so it did it's job!! We'll use them again for the rest of the house.
2 years later and we had the rest of the upstairs done. Ben gave us a great price for fitting carpet to two bedrooms, hall, landing, stairs using two matching roll ends. Also got kitchen lino done for grand price of £800. Fitting was really quick and the fitter was very quick and friendly. Really pleased again with the job. Cheers Ben.
The carpet and carpet fitters were really good, very professional. However, the low star rating is due to the laminate fitters and the absolute mess that was left in my front garden, which included their own personal rubbish such as biscuit packets, drink cans and apple cores. I understand that there can be some leftover flooring however this was ridiculous. There was so much laminate left over which they could have easily used to floor my under stairs cupboard as requested at the onset, but they said they didn't haven't enough and vinyl would have to do - this clearly wasn't the case. I sent pictures of the mess and contacted the shop owner a few times (including a voicemail) but never heard back from him which, considering he easily took £2k from me for the flooring, is terrible service. I was shocked. Based on this, I would never return nor recommend.
