Lee came over quickly measured up and gave his professional opinion and flooring samples for us to choose. He was friendly and knowledgable. The carpet fitters were friendly, courteous and respectful of our autistic daughter. They were finished within 2 hours for hallway, stairs and landing. We are very happy with the experience.

I found all the staff at Trade Carpets to be very helpful. Trish was incredibly knowledgeable about sofas, and I could have spent all day sitting on them and making myself comfortable. However I wasn’t there to buy a sofa, sadly, but to look at flooring. Lee is the expert and gave me very good advice about choice, quality and price and recommended what would be most suitable for my house. I’m delighted with the results and must also mention the fitters who were friendly, respectful and super efficient. All in all a very positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them
Really impressed with our new carpet from Bentley & Hall – Trade Carpets. From the first quote with Lee to the installation day, everything was organised and stress‑free. Peter and Phillip, who carried out the fitting, were punctual, polite, and did a beautiful job — the hallway and lounge look like a completely different home. The quality of the carpet and the standard of fitting exceeded expectations. Would happily use them again.
I was having a house in Bexhill-on-Sea renovated and needed flooring. A new air source heat pump was fitted together with underfloor heating throughout. I wanted suitable flooring for the underfloor heating and Lee was very helpful in supplying oak flooring downstairs, carpet on the stairs and upper floor and one en-suite bathroom with Altro non-slip flooring. He was very knowledgeable on what would work with my new heating system and also alive to savings that could be made due to my mobility disability. The price was fair, everything was delivered and fitted when expected and I’m very happy with the look, the quality and the outcome. A recommended retailer!
